SUMMARY Poverty is the major problem of Bangladesh. One third of the population is living below the poverty line and their sufferings are beyond words. Malnutrition, famine have become their constant companion. Both in urban and rural areas, a large number of people are living in a great misery, struggling each day to provide themselves with their basic needs. Illiteracy, child labor, early marriage, malnutrition, child mortality have resulted from poverty. The Poverty Fighter Foundation has come forward with a group of young and dedicated fellows and volunteers, in order to change the scenario and improve the condition of the impoverished population and free them from the vicious circle of poverty.
