Because we are launching our residency program this year and are still in the construction process of part of our village, we decided to launch this Summer program with special conditions! Our residency program is designed to provide the ideal environment for artistic creation while in direct contact with a natural setting. The Cerdeira Village Art & Craft Residency Program was designed for active young artist who want to develop their projects or simply be creatively stimulated, in isolation or among other artists in a unique place. What you can expect… Located in a rural setting, this program provides a quiet and inspiring place for you to start a new project or finish one. We provide you with basic technical assistance and housing for the weekly fee. What we expect from you... Artists must keep the house clean and cook their own meals. It is also expected that they help in some of the village activities. The applicants may also suggest other types of collaboration and work, that they can help with. Suggestions are always welcome! Travel expenses, food and other supplies are paid by the artists.
