SUMMER JAM 2014 & LVFD 5K Run On Saturday, September 6, 2014, the Lascassas Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting our second annual SUMMER JAM and first annual 5K run. The lvfd5krun will start at 8:00am. To register for the 5k run go to the official website at lvfd5krun . The 5k run will be officially chip timed by orbiter The second annual SUMMER JAM fundraising event will be held in the afternoon after the 5K run. The SUMMER JAM event will go from 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Both events are to be held at the Lascassas Fire Department, Station 1, at 6531 Lascassas Pike – Lascassas, TN 37085. SUMMER JAM events will include: Silent Auction, Hot-dog Eating Contest, Jump Houses, Carnival Games, Stick Horse Rodeo, Square Dancing, Build your Own Bird House and more. FREE Admission to SUMMER JAM – Donations gladly accepted. Proceeds go towards the purchasing of new equipment for the Lascassas Volunteer Fire Department.
