SUNDAY, 12TH OCTOBER 2014 POWER AND GLORY TABERNACLE, AKURE SUNDAY SERVICE PASTOR BOLA BELLO JOHN 3:1- +The first step towards the Kingdom of God is seeing. Many people cannot appreciate the Kingdom of God because they lack sight. +The Kingdom has no impact in our lives because we only talk about it without seeing it. To see the Kingdom is to apprehend the Kingdom. +The Kingdom is Life. It is the Life of Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of God is not heaven. The heavens shall be rolled away. +Miracle is not the Kingdom. It is a mere side attraction in the Kingdom. +We cannot enter God’s Kingdom without first seeing it. When we see the Kingdom, we can begin to walk towards it so that we can enter ultimately. +The Kingdom of God is a mystery. It is beyond human compass and faculties. A man cannot comprehend God’s Kingdom until his faculties are aided by Divinity. +Being born again is a paradigm shift. The Holy Ghost is required to cause this shift. ACTS 1:6 +We are limited today because we have wrong expectations of God’s Kingdom. We often think the Kingdom is all about eating and drinking. We are always tempted to rate people’s Kingdom-compliance based on ethereal and ephemeral things. +When you see the Kingdom, your focus will change. We must thirst for the Kingdom so we can apprehend it. MARK 4:11 +Those that are without the Kingdom are left in the realm of parables. For those who enter, the mystery of the Kingdom is given. +Miracles, prosperity, breakthroughs are mere ‘parables’ of the Kingdom. They should not be substituted for the Kingdom. They are just additions to the real thing. +The Kingdom can only be experienced in an atmosphere where the Gospel is preached. +The Kingdom of God is not what you accumulate in God; rather, it is what you become in Him. God is passionate about us becoming like Him. I PETER 1:10-11 +The prophets of old sought the Kingdom very diligently. They could not see or enter the Kingdom until Jesus came, died and resurrected. +The Kingdom makes us look foolish to the world. +The Kingdom of God is about influence, glory, weight, power, authority and dominion in righteousness. JEREMIAH 51:13; DANIEL 4:30 +The waters signify people or nations. Peddling God’s Kingdom and dominating God’s people for gain is an aberration. That kind of projection of the Kingdom cannot last.
