SUNDAY 27TH APRIL HE HAS NEVER LIED “God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent; hath he said it, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23: 19. Since creation, God has retained a long standing integrity. He has never lied! It is only the devil that has a Ph.D in lying. The Bible calls him “The father of lies” (John 8: 44 c). In Genesis 18 vs 10, God made a promise to Abraham. He said, “I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son”. Also verse 14 says “Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed, I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” This promise was confirmed in Genesis 21 vs 1-2. “And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken”. God is not a man that He should lie. He is truth personified. He honours His word even more than His name! His word is yea and Amen. Isaiah 55: 11 says “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”. What promise has God made concerning your life over the years? Don’t give space to doubt in your heart, believe it strongly. For if He (God) has said it, he will definitely bring it to pass. God cannot lie! WORD OF PRAYER:- Oh Lord, your word is true. I strongly believe that you will accomplish every word you’ve spoken concerning me in Jesus’ name, Amen. QUOTE:- If He has said it, He will surely perform it!
