SUNNY SIDE UP OR SCRAMBLED THESE DAYS ? Both of my sons are playing football this year and both are super excited . Since I dont know anything to help then prepare for football , I decided they j would make sure that I got them up ti exercise with me in the morning and concentrate on making them a healthy , high protein breakfast every morning. ( Cooking options for me are limited but I can cook some eggs and bacon .). Anyway , while I was frying eggs and thinking about how different these two creatures are . Kennon and Emery are totally different and yet so much alike . They see things so differently at times. And are just their own unique personality . Their own likes and dislikes and the way they see people and the same sunny day . I was cooking Kennons eggs sunny side up and then I had ti cook Emerys over easy with a soft yolk but not too soft that it gets into his grits. And so I was thinking how life is given to us. Like an egg with so many possibilities . We are fragile and hard at the same time . Shells are different. Some are thicker and harder to break but when you get to the inside , its the same . For some of us , thd shells are all cracked bug we salvage what we have and make scrambled eggs which still works . Sometimes , we are put under boiling water and survive it to be the poached version , even longer and we are the hard boiled egg . Sometimes , weve been hard boiled and we dress it up and become deviled eggs , sometimes a little bit of heat over the too at times , matures us but we are still sunny side up , and sometimes we are totally turned upside dine and over and are over easy , and just sometimes, its a little too long and we are hardened a bit but still good . And sometimes when every egg is cracked and would go to waste, we make scrambled eggs and pull in every good thing in our life and fold it in there and make something beautiful . Something so much more . And even when you try to flip it , if it seperates temporarily , you accept that it still has all if the good things in it and is the same thing , just not as pretty . So , in life , we are given this one life . We have a shell that is designed to protect us . We have a heart ( yolk ) that can withstand all kinds of heat during like. Sometimes we have a double yolk with a truly huge heart and that is even more rare and special . No matter what happens to you in life, we can always make something out if what we are given . We all withstand different temperatures , environments , stresses , cracks in our shell , but we can always , always salvage it and make something of it . When you pair it with something different but complimentary ( like eggs AND bacon ) , its even more perfect . You cant uncrack an egg if undue damage done to you but you can change your recipe for life and make it happen . Just make it work. It will. KEEP YOUR SUNNY SIDE UP TODAY :)
