SUPERNATURAL CREATIVITY CONFERENCE, 4-5 October 2013. - with streams for Prophetic Dance, Art, Fashion, & Writing “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…” Gen. 1:1 When? Friday 4th October 7:30pm, Saturday 5th October 9:30am-7pm. Where? HTB Brompton Road campus What? A day and evening of worship, teaching and activation in spiritual gifts through creativity, open to all (no previous creative experience necessary) Who? Led by a team of gifted and experienced arts practitioners (details below), hosted by the Udy Pastorate, in association with the HTB Prayer Department. How? Conference registration in advance is essential and is available online at bit.ly/17aS6qW (live link below) There is a nominal fee of £5 to cover materials and costs. For further information contact Ben Udy at b.udy@me More details? In the beginning God created. Before we learn about His love or His grace we hear about His creativity. Why? Because this is a fundamental part of who He is. It is also part of who we are. We are built in His image. A famous musician once said “Music can change the world because it can change people” (Bono). The power of a picture, a painting, a dance or a song to change a culture is enormous. But we have to start from somewhere… This conference will activate you in your natural, God-given creativity and your ability to use those gifts (however developed they are!) to release signs, wonders and miracles around you, not just to change a culture but to invite individuals and communities into an encounter with God. Expect to be excited and stretched in everything from the practical aspects of prophesying over someone to leading worship through creative means. There will be a chance to gain specific teaching in smaller seminars as well more general activation and teaching. This conference builds on last year’s Supernatural Creativity conference and the course which preceded it and is recommended to past participants as well as those coming for the first time. Timetable? Friday evening 7pm-9:30pm. Saturday 9:30am-7pm Main Sessions (tbc): The Power of Creativity: Encountering God in the Creative Awakening Creativity in our Relationship with God Seminar Options: Dance Solo Meditative Worship Dance Dance as Worship on Stage Prophesying over others in Dance Art Creative Freedom Art as a prophetic tool for individuals Art in Worship: Changing atmospheres and encountering God Textiles (eg Fashion, Jewellery) “Sinking into the Clothing of our Original Identity” “Clothed in Light: Accessing Kingdom Creativity from Heaven” “Mirror Mirror: Righteousness, Reflection and Renaissance” Poetry/Writing Three Seminars TBC General Seminars Changing Atmospheres in Worship Cultivating a Lifestyle of Worship Each seminar stream will provide the same core teaching and activation in how to grow in worship through that creative discipline, how to prophesy over others and how to bring the supernatural side of our faith into our creativity.
