“SUPERPOWER.” Is that not the word fittingly used to describe the USA? The USA is a state defined by power and its pursuit… culturally, economically and militarily. People need to think deeply. American citizens are profoundly hypocritical. They enjoy living in a superpower – it gratifies their egos – but they are scandalized by the intelligence and security apparatus fundamental to acquire and maintain national power. People need to see the fundamental choice – Do we want to be a national power, or do we want to be FREE? If we truly want to live free, then we need to renounce the national pursuit of power in all its forms. There is no other way.
