SUPPORT HON. ISIAQ ABIODUN AKINLADE VISION FOR OGUN STATE 2015. The life and times of all Prophets of Almighty God were sacrifice to deliver mankind from the shackles and menace of darkness, and bring them into the marvelous light of God. The key word here is SACRIFICE. It is therefore, reasonable and acceptable to assess public office holders by how much they are able to sacrifice their time, influence and position for betterment of the people they claim to represent. Also, there is this biblical saying, which says “Where there is no vision, the people perish”. But, people added that, where there is no vision and people fail to uplift it, the vision dies. It is therefore safe to express our impression of the man on this premise. Mind you, we are arms-length observer of the man and do not claim to know all that he has done but our impression and belief are formed from what we have felt, experienced and witnessed about this humble man of the people (HON. ISIAQ ABIODUN AKINLADE) Hon. Isiaq Abiodun Akinlade, by virtue of his position, is a lawmaker and any impact he is able to make outside lawmaking is a function of how determined and passionate he is about making a different. As the youth are the future of any nation and any individual that pays attention to them loves his nation to be great indeed. We are yet to see an individual that has empowered the youth as much as Hon. Akinlade in our generation, especially in Yewa/Awori or Ogun West Senatorial District. His contribution cannot be overlooked as he has contributed positively to the employment redundancy of Yewa/Awori people by facilitating employment generation to the indigene of Yewa/Awori and citizens of Ogun State, close to five hundred (500) graduates 2 federal government agencies / parastatals or been federal public servants and more still expecting. We have no doubt in our mind, with the help of Almighty God on our side, many of them will rise up to the position and Director-General, Directors and Permanent Secretary in the nearest future, and our constituency and Ogun State at large will be better than before. Also, his passion for education is also commendable. No wonder, many students in higher institution benefited immensely in form of financial support given to them. The Honourable, as he is fondly called, has also delivered in terms of constituency projects and gives dividend of democracy to the people. He has facilitated many projects in his constituency including;Solar lighting that dotted many towns supply of computers to schools, provision of well equipped classrooms block in many secondary schools. He has also embarked on various beautification projects, facilitate the construction of skill acquisition centre, National Incubation Technology Centre, National Biotechnology Development Agency, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), all are federal parastatals, and many more. And, his model of project monitoring is worthy of emulation. He also ensures that elders and youth in the communities monitor each project so that quality and timely delivery is assured. He activities has so much impacted on people to the extent that if he has not done a favour personally to you, he would have touched the life of somebody you know and benefited in one or the other. He lives life as if as if he has been called by God to touch many people as he could. His love, attention and care for the people are unprecedented. He may not take all phone calls but he will personally reply all messages sent to him. His house in his constituency and Abuja are open to all that cares to call on him. Judging from what we have seen, he is humble, a good listener, intelligent, a good manager, an excellent administrator and has open door attitude. He remembers faces and names, a rare quality among politicians and staunch believer in God. On this note, we call upon leaders/elders and good people of Yewa/Awori and Ogun State at large to join hands together and support this humble man of the people who has contributed immensely to the development and progress of indigene, communities and Ogun State citizens at large. Finally, we believe there are much more to do if allowed to lead the Gateway State to greater height and we believe a man cannot do it all, just do your best possible and leave the rest for posterity. We are sure that, posterity will judge him right. GOD BLESSES YEWA/AWORI! GOD BLESSES OGUN STATE!! GOD BLESSES NIGERIA!!!
