SURGERY FUND UPDATE: An anonymous person has stepped forward to match any donation made through Wednesday evening. This is fantastic news, and may it be an inspiration for each of you to share by directly contributing toward the surgery of a poor Kenyan man whose young daughter needs him to be well. Recap: A few weeks ago, my friend Richard, a poor 33 year old man from the slums of Nairobi, Kenya was working in a sewer trench when hs foot was impaled by a corroded piece of metal. It broke off inside his foot, and now it is badly infected. Gangrene is setting in. He is impoverished. He has no way pay the 45,000 Kenyan shillings needed to perform surgery. He needs surgery NOW or else his leg must be amputated. Worse, the injury has gone septic and his life is at risk. He is the only provider for his 5 year old little girl, and she needs her Daddy.
