SUSTAINABLE ENERGY EUROPE AND MANAGENERGY AWARDS COMPETITION 2014 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA For both awards the following criteria shall be applied. Eligibility criteria are go/no-go criteria. Projects which do not meet these criteria will be excluded from further evaluation. 1. Your project must contribute to the EU 2020 objectives with regards to energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. [Note: You are required to present concrete facts and figures showing the extent to which your project is generating energy savings and/or increasing the use of renewable energy sources regardless of the size of your project. This data will be assessed by a Technical Advisory Committee and the jury.] 2. The main promoter of your project must be based in EU28, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Main promoter means the organisation(s) responsible for the project. 3. Research and Development (R&D) projects and products are not eligible. The aim of the Awards is to collect and showcase outstanding projects with a potential for high impact in the market and a high replication potential. This award scheme is not the right place to submit projects which develop, test or demonstrate novel and untried approaches or technologies. This award scheme is aiming to give visibility to projects which are time-bound activities and have achieved a predetermined outcome. Awards will not be given for specific products. 4. The project must be already implemented. Projects which are still at the planning stage or not yet fully operational are not eligible.
