SVP, Director of News Content: Investment & Activation MediaVest - New York, NY About this job Job description Job Title: SVP, Activation Director, Newspaper/News Content Investment Reports to: EVP, Director of Publishing Investment & Activation PMP Level: Advanced Position Summary Oversee the Newspaper/News Content Activation and Investment group for MediaVest across 20 clients with billings of $250-300MM. The Activation Director guides the team in planning and buying of national and local newspaper and news content on all platforms in which news content is distributed on (print- ROP, FSI, etc., digital- including display, e-circulars, etc., mobile, tablet, video, etc.). Director is an already established thought leader in the industry and a true partner in client’s business. Specific Responsibilities ¨ Manage and mentor an integrated team across clients to develop and activate strategic approach, plans & programs for newspaper & news content (across platform) that deliver on upon client objectives with excellence ¨ Develop marketplace analysis for newspaper/news content landscape and accompanying go-to-market strategy (across platform) for MediaVest and customized by client ¨ Oversee and manage relationship and communication with 3rd party newspaper company partner(s) ¨ Establish and grow strong client, agency (internal/ external), and media partner relationships ¨ Develop and drive new ways of doing business with media partners (re-imagined partnerships) ¨ Lead negotiations and manage/ track financials and negotiation performance for internal reporting purposes ¨ Lead collaboration with appropriate clients, internal parties (strategic planning, research), external agency partners and media partners to achieve integrated marketing solutions and drive innovation on behalf of clients and agency ¨ Demonstrate strong command and application of media research, measurement, data & analytics ¨ Identify and facilitate implementation of opportunities to improve best practices, process and product ¨ Inspire creativity and pro-activity of team Theres more to see at this link: linkedin/jobs2/view/9458164
