SWELL FAIR at CURRUMBIN......PARENTS/CARERS, GRANDPARENTS, EXTENDED FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Please join us for a fantastic afternoon of fun and activities showcasing our schools talents and artistic side, to coincide with Swell Sculpture Festival. Every class is involved doing a “stall” of some kind - a haunted house, white elephant stall, calico bag decorating, cupcake decorating, face painting, lollipop tree, football toss, photo booth – just to name a few. Most activities will cost about $1.00 or $2.00 – so if you can’t make it, don’t forget to send a few of coins with your child on the day. There will also be FREE activities, so nobody misses out! There will be prizes and FREE entertainment all afternoon. We will also draw our MEGA raffle – so come along and have some fun and win some prizes! Ask your teacher how you can help! Teachers will be working like crazy to make it all happen, and would love some help with your child’s class activity – whether that be bringing something beforehand, helping on the day, or donating something. It will also be FREE DRESS. If you are doing face painting – then we encourage party/carnivale type dress up. If your class is doing the “chuck a duck” then maybe dressing in yellow! Talk to your teacher to find out what your class is doing. If in doubt - go carnivale or party theme! The TUCKSHOP WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR FOOD – but will be selling drinks and ALL the tickets for activities. There will be a sausage sizzle for first and second break, and a limited selection of sushi and sandwiches for sale. There will be SHOWBAGS –(pre-order through flexischools flexischool.au It’s very easy - just register, click on events and pay $5.00 for a showbag. Collect on the day at the showbag stall). Every bag is a lucky dip, but with over $20 value at $5 they are all bargains, and will include things like: surf wax, activity magazines, chocolate milk, vegechips, popcorn, lollies, balls, stickers, pens – and MORE… numbers are limited, so be quick! One lucky winner will get the “GOLDEN” bag, and instantly win a brand new STOMP skateboard. Be Part Of It – Help Out: White Elephant Stall - Bring along any unwanted clean, un-chipped crockery and small items (no electrical, clothes or furniture). Make it a-MAZE –ing! The kids are going to have a great time making a maze through the school – but we need wool for kids to participate, so please, drop off any balls of wool/yarn you can find. The great cake stall – show off your master chef skills, or just your “sweet” generosity – (all items labeled with ingredients please – we have to) All donated items to can be dropped at the tuckshop or the P&C office – thanks!
