SWIMMING 2013 Independence Swim Camp USA Swimming coach Kurt king announces the 2013 Independence summer swim camp. The camp is scheduled for Monday thru Friday July 29th thru August 2nd, 2013, At the Riverside Beach Family Aquatic Center. SR level swimmers start @ 8 AM to 10:30 AM, Intermediate level swimmers from 10:30 am until 12:50PM. A camper may attend both sessions for extra instruction if they so desire, at no additional fee. This camp is designed to assist in the development of current swimmers skill sets as they prepare for their next level of competition. It is also designed provide an opportunity, and encourage other High School age athletes, to try swimming in a learning non competitive environment. Camp Instruction: fundamentals, and advanced skills in all 4 strokes as well as starts, turns, finishes, and improving your core strength training. Camp instructors: Kurt King, a USA Swimming Certified swim coach, and other very experienced competitive swimmers, coming in as guest instructors. All instructors are lifeguard certified. The Camp is open to swimmers entering 5th Grade thru college age. A swimmer younger than entering 5th grade, that swims at an Intermediate level is also welcome to attend. Questions regarding this can be directed to coach King. All campers will receive a Swim camp T- shirt. To be sure and receive your Shirt the first day of camp, Registration need to be turned in by July 17th. Registrations will be accepted thru the first day of camp.
