SYDNEY: Police at Martin Place, Sydney, continued their efforts on Monday evening to “bring about a peaceful resolution” to the hostage situation at the Lindt Cafe. Catherine Burn, deputy commissioner of the New South Wales Police, said the forces best negotiators were at the scene.
