Dear Friends of Redwood Adventure Camp, This morning as I sat - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends of Redwood Adventure Camp, This morning as I sat down to write my grocery list for Thanksgiving weekend, I couldn’t help but take a moment to think of all the things for which I am grateful. I am thankful for my friends and family and the opportunities I have had. One of the biggest blessings I have received has been the opportunity to serve Camp throughout the years. I get to be surrounded by Camp friends during the year as a member of the Board of Directors, and I get to live the Camp experience in the summer as a volunteer on site. As you know, there aren’t too many things better than being surrounded by amazing people in an amazing place. Now, I get to share this experience with my own children each summer. I am thankful. But to be honest, I want more. I don’t just want to share Camp with my children. I want Camp to touch the lives of as many kids as possible. I want kids everywhere to know what it means to be Michael-like, to experience affirmations, and to witness the goodness of others. I want kids to go outside and play, hike, and take polar bears. I want Camp to be around for another 50 years! Thank you for your support of Camp. As you think back on what you are thankful for, I hope Camp comes to your mind. Please consider a gift of $50.00. Or consider setting up a monthly donation on our website. Just $10.00 a month will make a difference. You can be sure that we will use every dollar you send to keep the Michael-like spirit strong.
