Sa mga nag pa reserved po ng Minasa ay nandito na po mga Kapatid :) Minasa= Specialty of the Siquijor Island, certain minasa are being made based on desires and preferences :) Minasa is a mixture or concoctions of herbs and other mystical objects done every Good Friday Only :) Shamans and Healers and other magic practitioners gathers together in a group. One group will search (Pangalap) certain herbs and other mystical objects around the island. The search are usually in the forests, mountains, seas and oceans, rivers, streams, lakes, waterfalls, cemeteries, Churches, etc.... Once they are done in the search they will gather again together to make the Minasa....First they will pour coconut oils (no eye, one eye, coconut facing sunrise) in kawa add some wax from cemeteries, churches, add some herbs and many more including the soil from sacred and mystical places around the island.
