Sabrina, my sister, and I went back and forth a bit on yesterdays post, which reminded my of my first experience with an electronic door and Mom. It was at a Walgreens in Petaluma, California. Despite moms warnings, I made great sport of jumping in and out of the doorway just as the sliding doors would close. Well, you guessed it. I got caught, by the neck, with the rest of me on the opposite side of the pad which made the door work. It didnt reopen as automatic doors do now. All mom could do was laugh, just feet away from the pressure pad. A passerby saw my predicament and my mom howling with laughter. The dear lady shook her head in disgust and released me from the grip of the doors. At least you cant say we werent raised with a sense of humor. Have A Daybreak Day!
