Sachin Tendulkar- Never met him personally or seen him beyond TV and just 2 days back thought his retirement would, may be marginally different than that of all other Greats - You would miss them but thats about it. Guess had taken Sachin for granted. I always believed I was very strong emotionally to have rarely cried in my Life but strangely I felt this unknown connection with him and so moved by his speech & gestures that I just couldnt control my emotions and was surprised to see tears automatically rolling for a while. Instantly I recollected all the years of my childhood watching his matches at 2 am in the middle of the night when overseas, how he was the only hope for India for many years and he being the only topic of discussion amongst Vella friends.Suddenly the feeling was - Hey Man Where are you going.? You cant do this to me..It somehow felt so Unfair, Wrong & seemed so not Done. And Im sure it wasnt just his Cricketing genius but what he was as a Human being. He I believe was truly sent by God and he will live in my Heart - all my life..I wish to see a miracle of him coming back again canceling his retirement only if that could happen.. Thank You for inspiring in so many ways.! They say - No one is Indispensable but Im sure They dont know about You Sachin...Salute your Greatness.! Long Live.! God bless !
