The 41-year-old batting legend called it the best form of match practice ahead of India’s upcoming tour to Australia, where they’ll play 4 Test matches, starting in Brisbane on December 4, followed by a tri-series involving themselves, Australia and England. “This is the perfect form of match practice and preparations before the Australian tour,” he added. Sharma’s first double ton came against Australia at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, where he scored an incredible 209 off 158 balls in an innings that included 12 fours and 16 sixes, last year.
