Sack Blair as Middle East envoy Three former British ambassadors are backing a campaign calling for Tony Blair to be sacked as international envoy to the Middle East after his attempts to absolve himself of responsibility for the crisis in Iraq. The Guardian has reported that the three had signed a letter, organised by the makers of Respect MP George Galloways film The Killing Of Tony Blair, which says the invasion of 2003 led to the rise of fundamentalist terrorism in a land where none existed previously. Im waiting for someone to start a petition on Change.org (or some other appropriate platform) to relieve Tony Blair of any and all Peace Envoy responsibilities, and Ill be encouraging family and friends to sign it. Id start it myself, only Id be seen as coming from the Hard Left that so Viscerally opposed so much of Blair did in siding with the US war on Iraq. To make me a further non contender to start a petition, I have contributed to George Galloways The Killing of Tony Blair project. Hopefully a close acquaintance of Mr Blairs (like Peter Meddlesome \ Mandleson) might step forward and start the petition, but, Ill not be holding my breath. Anyone in direct contact with Russell Brand??
