Sad news about one of our Great Grand-daughters. She is 7 years old and has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.Latest news is She came out of surgery at 7.30 pm last night. They couldnt remove all the tumor, as some was wrapped around the brain stem. After the family left the hospital last night to drive to where they are staying ( two hours) they were called back to the hospital as she had a siezure. Seems ok now and is in recovery. Hopefully going into the Ward today or tomorrow. Wont get the results as to whether the tumor is malignant or not for about 5 days. After she recovers she will then undergo radiation, then chemo. Could be off school for up to a year.
