Sad today and, yet, feeling the warmth of kids and grangirls - all living with me. My brother would have been 75 today, but he died at 49 - the heartbreak of my life. Hes missed so much and we miss him so much - there isnt a family event that he isnt a part of. Mass for him at St. Anns this morning because Our Lady of Good Voyage no longer does the 8:30 sunday mass - it was different for me because I never go to St. Anns except for funerals, but I felt surrounded by him and faith that we will be together again someday. He was nine when I was born - can you imagine the worship I felt? A few photos - the day I came home, me as a three or four year old, all four of us and the last time we were all together in 1988.
