Sadhana Schools celebrated Children’s Day with pomp and festivity to mark Jawaharlal Nehru’s Birthday. Children’s happiness is utmost important at all times, and where else can you find such happiness but in schools. The satisfaction and happiness on the faces of the young ones spreads joy to all. Glorification of Nature is part of Sadhana Culture. The ‘Koondalpanai’ Tree or Caryota Urens which is in full bloom and special to Sadhana Campus by was decorated with sandal paste and flowers. All children offered prayer to the Koondalpanai tree and sang songs. The students of Sadhana Schools had ‘Gaja Dharshan’ and got blessings from the sacred elephant. The children had an enjoyable ‘Horse Ride’ which is a regular event and unique to Sadhana Campus, saw children in rapturous mood. The atmosphere was one of elation. Various competitions were conducted to mark Children’s Day. Cultural Programmes were given by the students of all classes – tapping Tiny Tots , rocking Primary, orators from I – XII, rapping upper primary and dramatic high and higher secondary. Br. Dr. P. Natanagurunathan, Director of Sadhana Schools presided over all the functions and programmes and distributed prizes to all prize winners.
