Sadly, hundreds of people stood in the cold today at Lighthouse Mission street outreaches hoping for a little Thanksgiving food and we did not have enough turkeys or chickens to give out in Shirley today. Please pray we will have enough for the remaining 4 other outreaches over the next few days before Thanksgiving. It is never an easy thing to look someone in the face, who is in desperate need & tell them that you cant help them... What was amazing is that mostly everyone who heard the news that there was no turkey was still very grateful for what God did bless them with through His Lighthouse Mission. Best of all many asked Jesus into their lives today. The Kingdom of God is on the move!
