Sadly, today we lost the man that was the foundation of all that is Winstead. Buford Winstead, while your journey on this earth has ended, like Mamaw, your legacy lives on!!! You may now rest in peace, never to be in pain or bed ridden again, and I know you are enjoying being reunited with Mamaw and all of your other loved ones that have gone before you. I cant thank you enough for the example and influence that you have been on my husband, Shawn Winstead!!! While many people have formed, and shaped him into the man he has become. I see you in him every single day, and for that... our children and I am truly blessed!!! Hopefully, hunting, fishing, and a good game of pool is allowed in Heaven. Im also proud to have carried on your name with Buford Thomas he is quite the pistol!!! RIP Papaw... your legacy WILL live on!!!
