Said goodbye to mom and stopped to say hi to dad today. While I am sad to have watched my parents leave this earth, I spent much of today smiling and laughing with family, and thinking about how blessed I am that my parents taught me the lessons they did and gave me the encouragement to be the me I became. Now its my turn to get it right with my four kids (knowing that means its ok for me to screw up from time to time), and share my stories with the two brothers whose lives were also blessed with these amazing parents.
