Saint Galmier is somewhere we love to return to time and time again - and not least because its the home of the wonderful Badoit spring water! Sadly we seem to go every 8-10 years or so, and we wish it were more often as the church is beautiful, the audience appreciative, and the food and wine excellent. Last nights concert and rehearsal were great fun, but also very useful to introduce Julian to our touring life. We sang for 10 minutes with Jules, at the end of the rehearsal, and what we heard and felt made us very excited for September and beyond. We have more time to work with him before our summer break, at the forthcoming concerts in Germany as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, so those of you who are coming to Pauls last few concerts may well get to meet his successor as well.
