We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our NSW Government & Industrial Key Accounts team. This exciting management position provides an opportunity to utilise your sales, negotiation and people management skills to deliver on business targets and objectives. Critical to your success will be your highly developed leadership skills, and your financial and commercial acumen. This role has a high level of autonomy and requires someone who is decisive, results oriented and supportive. The responsibilities for this role will include but will not be limited to: Positively influencing, managing and monitoring team members ensuring the appropriate training, coaching and development Developing and monitoring sales plans through product and sales forecasting Achievement of budgeted revenue, gross margin, unit sales and core sales drivers Developing and maintaining effective customer relationships Preparation of detailed reports for market & competitor intelligence & identifying key market influencers Providing direction & reporting on sales activities to the business Experience and skills we are looking for: Ideally tertiary qualified within a ‘business’ discipline A minimum of 5 years corporate sales experience with previous team management responsibilities Experience in building, leading and motivating a sales team A strategic outlook Highly developed numerical, financial, negotiation and computer skills Great communication, presentation & interpersonal skills A disciplined approach to Sales Management via usage of processes and systems.
