Sally Bunning is a Geographer from Nottingham University, UK, with a MSc in Land resources management, soil and water engineering from Silsoe College, UK, and a DAA on soil and water management in agriculture from ENSAM, Montpellier. She has 30 years of agricultural and environmental development experience, with a focus on watershed and sustainable agro-ecosystem management, mainly in Africa, but with some experience in other regions. She is currently senior officer Land & Soils with the Land and Water Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). She has worked with FAO since 1989 including a two year secondment to the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, in Montreal, Canada on Agricultural Biodiversity. She was based for ten years in Africa: with FAO in Benin and Guinea Bissau, with ACORD (NGO consortium), managing an Integrated natural resources and agriculture project in the north of Benin; with International Livestock Centre for Africa, as Soil and Water Management consultant in the Highlands of Ethiopia; and in Malawi as Lecturer of Soil and Water Engineering in Bunda College of Agriculture and as Land Use Planner in the Land Husbandry Training Centre with the Ministry of Agriculture and DFID (then ODA). vimeo/63226953
