Salmon Cakes: someone gave me 4 cans of it..., searched my recipe box(es) (Yeah that many)and found one of my Grannys : 2 cans Salmon Chopped onion Bell pepper 2 eggs bread crumbs Garlic powder and season to taste 2 diced potatoes Clean Salmon first by taking the bones out. Add one onion chopped fine and half bell pepper and diced potatoes In a bowl add your eggs and gradually add in bread crumbs. Add garlic powder and seasonings to taste. Take a small ice cream scoop and measure each salmon cake. Make an egg and milk batter and season it. Dip in egg wash and then in flour. Flatten them before adding to hot oil . Cook until golden! will try this & keep ya posted..
