Salsa/Bachata/Kizomba. Weekly parties discussion in Estonia. Every party has the good and the bad. Its impossible to say which party is the best. Tuesday has best music, Sunday best workshops, Thursday best kizomba and most people, Wednesday (and Thursday) best dancers, Monday has best atmosphere (I like Katusekohvik). Monday. Katusekohvik, Sergei playlist Dances: roughly 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 Music: 5/5, I like it. Dancefloor: up to 80% full, usually enough room to dance Dancers level: 2/5...4/5 varies a lot. I need to invite good partners. Other dances: none Workshops: none Time: 22-00 (at 00 it usually breaks) Tuesday Cubanita, DJNrike Dances: roughly salsa 4, bachata 2 repeat, 1-5 kizombas per night, more bachatas/kizombas till the end Music: 6/5, because Nrikes music is awesome Dancefloor: up to 70% full, always space to dance big and move around (elite hasnt discovered it, or has it?) Dancers level: 1/5...3/5 a lot of beginners. I need to invite good partners. Other dances: none Workshops: none, 2 ruedas with Andre Time: 21sh-00 (at 00 it usually breaks) Wednesday Cubanita, DJ Rain Dances: roughly salsa 7, chacha1, bachata 2, kizomba 1 repeat Music: 4/5, nothing extraordinary in my opinion, he plays some kind of sembaish kizomba, just off imo Dancefloor: up to 95% full, at high hours it gets quite crowded Dancers level: I call it russian night, 2/5...4,6/5, you can usually find best russian dancers there Other dances: chacha and sembaish kizomba Workshops: 1/5, Vadim is doing something for real beginners and doing in terribly boring. Terrible. Time: 22-1, sometimes 2 (russians like to party) Thursday Cubanita, DJ Sonero Dances: 3 salsa, 1 bachata, 2 kizomba Music: 4,5/5. He plays good kizomba and bachata. But 90% of salsa songs suck. Dancefloor: 110% full, There is usually no space, period. You can dance tarrasalsa, tarrabachata ofc. Dancers level: Estonian elite shows up. 3/5...4,5/5 Other dances: none, maybe 1 semba during a night Workshops: usually none Time: 22-1 Sunday Cubanita DJ Luis Dances: roughly 4 salsa, 2 bachata, 1 kizomba repeat. 2 merengues during the night. Music: 4,5/5. Good, nothing extraordinary. Although you might hear some really good bachatas. Dancefloor: up to 85% full, gets tight at some times Dancers level: 2/5...3,5/5. Not much elite here. But you can expect to find some good dancers. Other dances: merenque Workshops: 5/5, Luis is doing some really nice workshops every time, level is intermediate usually, I find them tricky sometimes Time: 22-00 (Cubanita closes at 00sh)
