Salt Life began in the depth of a volcano Or in the deepest sea Let science conjecture and resolve it. But body being ninety percent water And perspiration being so salty My vote goes for the sea. If you do not believe life depends on salt, Believe me Only the other day my friend was at death’s door Just because He did not have enough salt in the body. And they called it sodium deficiency. Therefore, I am always true to my salt. You have fed me well---food laid out Sir, Just royal- delicious and sumptuous And seasoned well with salt---just to my taste.
