Sam asked me to post the latest on his ongoing journey toward being well - he thought he needed another ride in the Albion VFD Ambulance so we called this morning at 4 am because he could not breath. They took him to St. Vincents in Erie and by the time I arrived the ER doctor had already made the decision to admit him (again). This time he has internal bleeding and his he had lost about 50% of the blood he needed to function - which explained the shortness of breath, light headness, cramping his hand and legs and numerous other problems. They immediately ordered 3 units of blood (the third is dripping as I write) I can already see a remarkable improvement in him, they are doing a procedure tomorrow to try to determine the cause of the bleeding. So if you are around St. Vincents stop in and say hi to him. We are hoping he will be home by Monday or Tuesday
