Sam is trying to gather data. Here is what we have from one eyewitness phone call near Elizabeth City State University. Extensive power outages throughout most of Pasquotank and Elizabeth City. Fire department sent units to Albemarle Hospital to provide lighting to helipad. One Eliz City resident near ECSU said the winds were so strong a 300 lb. set of French doors in his backyard were picked up and tossed across the yard. He stated his girlfriends car was picked up at the front end and set down while in Camden. Right now, most of the traffic coming from Pasquotank, Camden and Hertford is involving trees blocking roads and downed power lines. There is not a lot of traffic on injuries or structural damage at this point but earlier there were many involving vehicles and houses.
