Samford Branch and friends enjoyed a very informative morning on Saturday 10 May visiting Sheryl & Bob Backhouses property at Mt Samson. We enjoyed seeing the amazing amount of work completed on their large property in terms of rejuvenation using local rainforest species as well as sharing some of Sheryls passion for growing and using Bushfoods. She is very passionate about the control of fruit fly and responsible sub-tropical fruit growing habits. We were also treated to a lovely morning tea which included bacon and cheese muffins straight from the oven!
