Sammy the cocker spaniel ———11102014 It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce that our darling Sammy passed this afternoon. He was in the arms of his loving father, who soothed him and held him while he peacefully passed. Sammy’s father wanted everyone to know that Sammy had a stroke and was having a difficult time walking and eating. Sammy was 19. Martin and I (Amy) and so many many of you will never be the same after knowing Sammy--his soulful eyes, his sweet spirit that shone through his beautiful face. Yet in that little baby was such strength. Sammy Stong! He overcame so much then spent his last years in heaven on earth with his father. Now he will be in heaven. As we imagine Sweet Angel Sammy crossing the Rainbow Bridge, please remember how his father used to hold him and sing to him, then take him out and say to him: “Go Sammy, go be a dog.” Sammy’s dad is comforted by the fact that Sammy will now be with his brothers, Gibson and Max. Let’s all hold his heartbroken father in our hearts and prayers and say to Sammy as he crosses the Rainbow Bridge: Go Sammy, go be a dog. More information later. Thanks to everyone who loved Sammy. When I first heard what happened to this sweet senior dog on the night of March 18th 2013 I was at first saddened then my sadness turner to anger when I realized what Keith and Shauna Morgan had done to you. I wrote the Sammy The Cocker Spaniel page in 15 minutes after discussing this horrid case of abuse with someone very special to me Marlo A.L.F.Cristoforo- Colson as she inspired me that I could make a difference in the fight against animal abuse. I never in my wildest dreams thought that this beautiful dogs story would go viral all over the world. Sammy The Cocker Spaniel is loved in 53 different countries and is the most popular dog in the world just like a modern day Lassie. After 2 weeks I was joined on this page by my good friend Amy Tiernan Ulness who with me worked non stop for one year straight seeking justice for Sammy.We did not get the justice we wanted but Sammy was adopted into the very best loving forever home he could have ever had. Sammys owner is a wonderful person who like myself is shattered tonight along with Amy. The best reward was meeting Sammy in person along with Amy and seeing first hand how happy he was. We both have made lifelong friends all over the world and we are an animal page unlike any other as we are a family here on Sammy The Cocker Spaniel. After discussing the passing of Sammy Amy and I have decided that we will continue on in our fight against animal abuse in Sammys name!! To Sammys owner I am so sorry for your loss tonight and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving our Sammy the best home possible! I would also like to say to the Morgans Keith and Shauna you failed our beloved Sammy and for this I will NEVER forgive you ever!!! To all of Sammys supporters thank you so much for being here with us and Sammy. We will continue on for all animals as I am sure that is what Sammy and his dad would want.
