Didnt IGNU collect our Maritime fund, taxes and International financial assistances despite the fact that the International community was doing almost everything for Liberia including providing security and even feeding its people? If your argument was that the government led by the so-called progressives couldnt build super highways or carry out very expensive development because the natural resources of the country were not under its command or that IGNU was not recognize as the government of Liberia by the International community then that could be a sensible argument up for debate. But one doesnt need to control large piece of land or have the entire natural resources of the country under ones control in order to demonstrate the quality of ones leadership skills.
