Sanctuarium Excelsis ©1994 Music composed and produced by Mel Graziano. Sanctuarium Excelsis is a 2 movement “Space” piece. Presented here is the finale to that piece. The Sanctuarium in its entirety was premiered at T Tiger’s Ski Lodge, in Fat City located in Metairie, Louisiana during the summer of 1993. The show was billed as An Odyssey of Sound and Light. The original video used to accompany the piece was created by Scott Stewart, who used various clips from the original Cosmo’s episodes to tell the story. The video currently posted here was created using pictures taken from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope website. The majority of the pictures are from Hubble, but there might be an artist’s rendering or two which also were found on the NASA site as well.
