Santos Express Train Lodge will be hosting the very first Mossel Bay Beer Fest in collaboration with South Cape Breweries on 27 & 28 September 2013. They are the first Micro Brewery in Mossel Bay and will be showcasing their Glenhoff Draught brand. South Cape Breweries brew according to the `Reinheidsgebot` method to ensure purity, clarity and excellence. South Cape Breweries is a true `Green` Brewery and the Glenhoff brand can currently only be found in a handful of choice establishments in the region, including The Fork and Train Restaurant at Santos Express Train Lodge.Visitors to the Beer Fest can expect to enjoy cold beer, good food and live entertainment, as well as other activities. The Rosenheim German Deli will be hosting the food stall, where traditional German delicacies will be available. Eat traditional Bavarian pretzels, while Josie Domingo and the Mossel Bay Community Band play traditional Bavarian Oompah music with a South African twist. The Community Band, formed in 2006, is comprised of around 50 community members. The Band has received many accolades and achieved first place at the Western Cape Band competition for the last three years.Saturday night kicks off with Karaoke, hosted by Johan Muller, starting around 7pm after the rugby.
