SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Delta State Government has Declares Today Friday Aug 15th 2014 as public holiday, to enable eligible voters to obtain their Permanent voters cards (PVCs) from the officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). This is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Ovuozouries Macaulay, in Asaba. According to the statement, INEC will begin the distribution of the PVCs in all the registration points across the state on Friday. “The holiday will provide the opportunity for persons in the state who registered during the 2011 voter registration to exchange their temporary voter?s card with the PVC”.
