Sarah Galloway asked Hi - I have a question - my 11 month old Great Danes tail is very boney (not much meat on it. Weve had him since he was 8 months old. His tail starts bleeding on the side of his tail (closer to the end of the tail) when he wags it and hits something (like the side of the house). It busts open and bleeds and then eventually stops - but then he will hit his tail on something else - and it starts bleeding again. He stays in his crate at night - so the tail will heal by morning - but then in the mornings - hell go outside - then hits it again against the brick and it breaks open. Any ideas on how to resolve this or how to tape up his tail so it will heal completely? Any accurate and helpful advice is appreciated.
