Satan is a master of deception and he delights in confusing us, - TopicsExpress

Satan is a master of deception and he delights in confusing us, creating division in marriage, destroying us mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Satan’s most frequent and consistent attack is directed against our minds when he attacks he wants us to be away from God and his purpose for our life and to destroy us so that we can end up in hell. The Bible says that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. Our minds are thus the battlefield. Both God and demons will come after your mind. God will try and pull you into His ways of living in this life and demons will try and pull you into their dark ways of living in this life. THERE is a great battle to-day over the use and control of the mind, not only in the world, but among the children of God. When the mind is renewed, the Spirit of God fulfils the promise of God, where He says, “I will put my laws in their hearts, and in their minds will I write them” (Heb. 10.16). Thus we obtain the “mind” of Christ (1 Cor. 2.16). Always remember, Satan will continually try to take the legitimate circumstances in your life and turn them into an attack upon God’s verity and your Christian character. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3 The sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Romans 8:7 James 1:14-15 says, “Each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin.” The only way we can overcome Satan is standing firm by dressing in the armour of God and covering ourselves and our loved ones with the blood of Jesus Christ with constant prayer and fasting. . In James 4:7 we are told to: Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. As the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Ephesians 6:11 – 12 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Luke 22:40: On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”
