Satan is attacking the church more than ever in our life time... He knows his time is short and he is wanted to destroy the witness of the church (you and me)... He is pull believers from the church by offering the world, tell us we have only one life to live, we should get all we can, not miss a thing... I think of the rich youth ruler-did not want to give up his earthly riches... I think of the rich man and Lazarus - the world was the rich man joy - until the end... I think of the Pharisee and Publican - position is not everything... I think of the widow who gave all she had - though it was very little.....Satan wants us to believe that things and events are more important than anything, good job, kids must not miss anything, I have to have it, and on and on... at the end - what will really matter? The blue ribbon, the trophies, the awards? Jesus clearing show us what was most important but do we really want to believe Him? We show by putting our commitment to Him last... God if we dont have a ballgame, if my team is not playing, if we dont have somewhere to go, if... if... Christ said with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind... sadly most want to give only a very small portion and say Oh God understand... Who do you really follow? the world or Christ? Who is first in your life... your actions will show...
