Satan says that the current you are swimming in, is going against the grain of the imagination; this is going against you (contradiction). It is a bad thing. And so he offers resolve for the imagination and calls that pursuit life. But as believers, we are to choose to let these threads of the imagination go (refuse to follow through on them) because we’re choosing to reflect and then follow through on the connections the Spirit is making for us. By instruction of knowledge (for faith) we understand why we are swimming as salmon, against the current, upstream to go to the place of our origin.
