Satan uses principles. See the trap a lot of us Christians fall into is the trap of principles. Paul said [Rom 7:8 But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead] In todays culture the law has disguised itself into what we call principles. Conferences have been held, books have been written on this subject. Principles principles principles. In reality peoples lives rot inside when outside it seems they are healthy. Jesus did not die for principles he died to cause a revolution in our lives. He gave His life so that our lives may be overcome by His. He died so that we may be transformed. Christianity is not about LIVING out principles. Its about DYING and allowing Christ to LIVE through you. How does this happen practically?? 1) The gospel must be preached. This is the gospel that Christ died for sinners and that we are now forgiven of all our past, present and future sins. 2) The gospel must be taught. Even after one receives Jesus as their Lord and Saviour they ought to be taught what God has done in them through Jesus Christ. They need to fully understand the gospel.Whats the result of this? Revolution!!! Transformation!! The church has replaced the gospel with principles. We have replaced saving truth with rules and regulations that will lead our generation to slavery. Churches are full of fans instead if revolutionized hearts. We are led by celebrities instead of slaves of the gospel. I say this generally cause as the church we are one body and share the same burdens. I do know ministers who are truly teaching the gospel and I appreciate them. Are you living a life of principles? Is there a revolution stirring in your heart? This #revolutionweek decide that you wont live a life of principles but will allow Christ to live in and through you. Revolution starts right here!
