Saturday 29th: As part of our group covertly monitored the Crawley - TopicsExpress

Saturday 29th: As part of our group covertly monitored the Crawley & Horsham hunt, the others overtly sabbed the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale hunt in Somerset. Adding to the total of approx a 100 sabs we went in convoy straight to the meet to announce our arrival. With plenty of sabs & vehicles to ferry them about the hunt were hardly out of sight & we believe no kills occurred. Plenty of farm boys turned up to intimidate but failed. This tactic does not put us off, infact it helps us to gather more support. For half of the day a lone PCSO kept an eye on things then more police arrived (strangely around the same time more farm hands arrived) to take number plates and to seemingly aid the intimidation of sabs. This hit was dedicated to the sab who spent a week in hospital a few months ago after deliberately being knocked over by one of the hunt staff on his fast moving horse. The sab suffered 7 broken ribs, a punctured lung & a damaged shoulder.
