Overlooking Danger. In 1 Sam 21:7-22, David overlooked Doeg the Edomite and that man was the reason why the priests of the Lord were killed en masse. Doeg was a danger which God showed to David and but he overlooked him. He took Doeg the Edomite for granted. Whatever danger you overlook, no matter how small, can be very devastating. Don’t give room to the devil in your life, home or anywhere. Don’t overlook the signal of danger, deal with it. Sarah overlooked Haggar and that was the loophole in Abraham’s house and the devil is still using her against the true seed till today. Seek to be aware of your environment as a child of God and never give room to the devil. 4. Unholy Alliances: This is an easy way for the devil to get into a man’s life. Many have fallen victim of this and they were vanquished by the devil (Read 2 Cor 6:14-16). Be careful of your relationships because they can be an automatic entrance of the devil into your life. An unknown factor is always a dangerous one so beware; Samson lost great power because of unholy alliance with Delilah. It was the strange women that Solomon joined himself to that turned his heart away from the Lord. 5. Success Syndrome (2 Samuel 24): Success is a very deep terrain that you need the grace of God to sustain you. Success has brought about more failure than failure itself and if you cannot manage success very well it can be a major loophole for the devil to finish you. Some people wouldn’t have problem with women when they are still struggling but when money comes, the devil will also come, because of loopholes. Beware of Success Transmitted Diseases (STDs), remember where you are coming from regularly, it will keep you from the devil, and don’t forget that the devil compiles the file of every champion and he waits to get them. So Christian seek not your repose, hear what your Angel is saying, you are in the midst of foes, beware! Don’t let success expose you to the devil’s attack. Prayer: Father I receive grace from you today to manage the success you are bringing into my life and the devil will not find any loophole in my life in Jesus’ name.
