Saturday, Jan 3 God’s Commission Read Ephesians 3:1-13 God had graced Paul with power and commissioned him to proclaim the good news of the boundless riches of Christ to all people. For centuries the Gentiles assumed that God was only for the Jews, but Paul proclaims that all people have access to God in boldness and confidence through faith. We, too, are empowered and commissioned to go out into a world that is often convinced that God is not “for” them and proclaim the same good news. Prayer: Heavenly Father, strengthen us to go out boldly and confidently into this world and show how your love and power can conquer all that is broken. Thank you for entrusting your work in and through us. Help us to see the path that you have laid before us and the courage to follow that path. Amen. ow.ly/Gj18X
