Saturday, January 10th at 6:30 p.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Quaker Hill: Hello Friends! I would like to invite you and your family to Second Saturday’s January movie night, The War of The Vendee. “A war movie for the family?”, you say? Yes! This is not just any war movie. The War of The Vendee by Navis Pictures is a little known story of the persecution of the Church during the French Revolution. What sets this movie apart, though, is that its cast includes more than 250 ‘young’ people and the film is produced to be both educational and entertaining while being sensitive to younger audiences (no language, blood, or gore). That being said, this is not just a movie for children. The cinematography and score of this movie are top shelf. I have attached a trailer below for your viewing. The War of the Vendee Trailer And if that weren’t enough to entice you to reserve your seats, the producer himself, Jim Morlino, will be attending and introducing the movie! And he will be available after the movie for a Q and A. But wait! There’s more! Jim will be bringing a few of the cast members with him. Imagine seeing a movie theater quality movie and then being able to meet some of the cast members in person. As usual this movie is being offered for FREE and there will be pizza, popcorn, and drinks. In order to get an idea of the number of people we need to feed, please respond to this email with the number of people who will be attending. Because our church hall has a capacity of 300 people I fully expect there to be a full house so please reserve your spot now and feel free to forward this email to your friends. Peace be with you!
